Arrived to find dining room was closed for renovation but they were still serving in Lobby at a few high tops.Happily our server Jason suggested we (12 golfers) dine at tables by the pool.What could have been a dining disaster proved to be a very enjoyable evening due to excellent service by Jason.

Nice One-Day Getaway

Had a great time recently at the Inn on the Lakes for a quick trip. Jassenia greeted us at the desk and gave us a great lake view room for our anniversary. The hotel was old, but very modern on the inside. Shower- loved it (great water pressure and very stylish). The on-site restaurant was really delightful - good food and great service. Don't think of this as hotel food- the quality and price are on par with very nice sit-down restaurants. Would I stay there again and recommend to friends? Yep. Yep. One other thing- the property is very close to Highlands Hammock State Park (great for biking and hiking). The hotel is also about 15 minutes from Sebring Raceway. Lastly, be forewarned of the pet fee- it's a little steep ($100) and you are booked in a specific double-queen bed room. The fee however covers the whole stay (which is unfortunate for one night, but great for longer stays).
