The Alaska Rainbow Lodge will appeal to families looking for an all-inclusive fishing adventure in a beautiful and remote area of Alaska. It’s one of the oldest lodges in the state, so they’ve had years of practice helping guests have a unique experience. The luxurious lodge features rooms with a queen and twin bed. Most of your down time will be spent in the lounge, where you’ll find deep-cushioned chairs and sofas, satellite TV, games and beverages. Each morning, the staff delivers a tray of juice, coffee or tea to you room, then takes your order for breakfast. All of the gourmet meals are served in the lodge dining room, while lunch is prepared on the river by your fishing guide right after you catch it.
The lodge is located on the Kvichak River, between the Togiak National Wildlife Refuge and Katmai National Park. It’s a stunning location, accessible by a one-hour plane ride from Anchorage. The Kvichak River is one of the best fishing rivers in Alaska, with the largest Red Salmon run in the world. You’re guaranteed to catch your fill of Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike and Rainbow Trout. Each day, you can either fish the river or hop on a plane for an even more remote lake or stream just minutes away. All levels of experience are welcome, and guides are more than happy to teach kids the basics of fishing. You’ll also see a wide range of wildlife, from bears to moose to bald eagles. After the day’s adventures, kids will love returning to a hearty dinner prepared by the lodge chef, after which they can play board games, watch movies and regale other guests with fish stories. With its each luxurious rooms and access to premier fishing, the Alaska Rainbow Lodge is a great choice for your family’s fishing vacation.

I first went to Alaska Rainbow Lodge about 20 years ago. It was great then it’s even better now. Chip and his crew have taken the Alaskan fishing trip to new highs. The fishing, service and food where remarkable. I highly recommend ARL to anyone considering this type of trip

The lodge, float planes, food, and rivers full of fish make this experience a "fishing paradise". There is nothing close to the total accommodations of the Alaska Rainbow Lodge....they really care about every need of their guests. The lodge provides the "best of the best" experience. I am counting the days until I return next year.
