Overview

Located 20 minutes from the Paso Robles Municipal Airport, the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Atascadero is a good bet for larger families and groups passing through the area. Some rooms are able to sleep up to seven guests, while most can sleep five. Suites have kitchenettes and separate sleeping and sitting areas equipped with sleeper sofas. Among the amenities families really appreciate are the complimentary hot breakfast spread served up each morning and the hotel’s simple but good restaurant, with the usual kid-friendly options for lunch and dinner. During your stay, make time for a dip in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub or squeeze in a workout in the fitness center. There are a few good outdoor seating areas here, too, for getting some fresh air.

In the immediate area, you’ll find such attractions as a zoo, parks, hiking trails, the beach and over 300 wineries — something for everyone to enjoy, in other words.

Had a great stay. The staff is beyond exceptional. We were there last March as well and had a fantastic time in Atascadero and the hotel. Thank you for the best time. The town was very polite to us and treated us with respect and dignity. We had a fellow rider get a flat and Nathan at Salty Cycles went out of his way to lend a hand. Good Location for the Central Wine Country

We ended up here because our regular hotel was not available for this trip. It turns out this is a great location and really good hotel. The front staff were super. They are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean to my expectations. The breakfast is what we expect from Holiday Inn Express and it was well presented and tended as the morning progressed. We like to get away to wine country several times a year. This hotel will be our base of operations the next time also.
