Located 35 minutes from Coles County Memorial Airport, the Hampton Inn & Suites Effingham is a convenient and comfortable place for a family stay. Choose from rooms with doubles, queens or king size beds, and request in advance if you’ll be needing a crib to ensure it’s available. Some rooms also have sofa beds to easily accommodate more than four guests. And suites have separate living and sleeping areas so you can really spread out and relax. Among the amenities here that families really appreciate are the complimentary hot breakfast, onsite pool and spa pool and fitness center

You’ll find several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, and many other attractions are just a short drive away.

Outstanding Service

The staff here is outstanding. Check-in and checkout is always efficient. I've stayed here many times and they go beyond. I've mistakenly reserved a smoking room a couple of times and the staff called ahead of my visit to make certain I wanted a smoking a room. I didn't and they changed my reservation to an appropriate room. Popcorn in the lobby is a nice touch. They also provide mouthwash and newspapers. The staff makes it feel as homey as possible.

Outstanding Stay in Effingham

If you are going to be traveling to or through Effingham, Illinois, the place to stay is the Hampton Inn. Great hotel in every way. Fresh and clean rooms, excellent amenities, and the breakfast was the best we have ever enjoyed at a hotel.
