Overview

A luxurious boutique resort on the lush island of Kauai, the Koa Kea has been named one of the world’s best beachfront resorts. Activities including swimming, surfing, horseback riding, snorkeling, golf, zip lining, sailing and hiking, as well as river and ocean kayaking, whale watching, sport fishing and more. (Not all included with accommodations.) The resort’s 121 guestrooms and suites feature garden or ocean views with connecting rooms provided for families to share. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the resort’s Red Salt restaurant.

Boutique resort by the ocean

Got an ocean view room. Heard the waves crash at night, while on the balcony having coffee in the morning, and at sunset. Enjoyed the pool and the bar by the pool. Ate at Red Salt twice, had a massage by the water. Had a relaxing and wonderful trip here.

Come for the amazing sunrises, stay for the fabulous sunsets!!

If you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation without hundreds of people all over a sprawling property, then this is the place for you. Plenty of amenities from the scuba rental equipment to the delicious complementary guava/orange juice; from the free morning coffee in the lobby to the nightly fire torch lighter; from the cold water refill stations to the valet guys who give excellent suggestions (esp. Mike and Daniel).

We had a relaxing, refreshing stay, with a fabulous display of nature all around us. And every single employee made us feel like our personal experience was their only concern (esp. Lynna). Thank you Ko'a Kea!!
