I had stayed here many years ago and loved it. So when I had the opportunity to stay again, I didn't hesitate. Our check in was smooth with the exception that they were having issues with issuing room keys. This was not a big deal. I was concerned that when I returned to the hotel at 1 am, I was given my room key and no questions or identification was requested.
The first time that I stayed here, my room didn't face the highway; this time it did. If you have ever been on Rt. 17, there are a lot of vehicles traveling on the road. I heard noise from the highway all night long. If you are a hard sleeper, you will have no problem.
The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again as long I as I am able to request a room that's not facing the highway.
(The reason for the "average" review is because of the room key issue, the highway noise and there was a social gathering in the lobby at 1 am that was very loud. the front desk staff wasn't readily available to issue my room key and to monitor the gathering/social event.)
