Another historical gem located three blocks south of the Courthouse is The Motor Lodge, originally built as summer cabins, circa 1910 in the territorial capital of Prescott, Arizona. Per the Lodge, in 2008, after nearly 100 years of varying owners, names and lodging styles, Joe Livingston and Brian Spear reinvented The Motor Lodge to embody all that today’s boutique motels should offer: cleanliness, comfort and unrivaled hospitality. Room choices include private porches on most rooms, gas fireplaces in many of the rooms, covered private parking adjacent to many of the rooms, complimentary Wi-Fi and bicycles that can be borrowed (including a vintage tandem). This is in addition to coffee/tea/cocoa service in each room, refrigerator, TV including HBO, hair dryers and ironing boards and irons available upon request.
Room choices include the Classic Room, which has a California king bed; a Deluxe Room that has a California king bed with fireplace; suite with two queen beds in the bedroom, a separate living room and a fireplace; The Apartment with two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a separate living room (with a full size, fold-down futon style sofa), a kitchenette (no stove/oven) and a private porch; and The Hideaway, the most luxuriously appointed room and has a California-king bed. Please note the Hill House is a two-bedroom, two-bath house located 1.5 blocks from The Motor Lodge.
