Four of us (two couples) stayed here in two rooms on a snowy, Oct night and enjoyed it. Lindsey was at the property (she lives off-site) when we arrived and checked us in quickly. She explained The Ruby's policies (including no shoes inside), showed us the common area and our rooms, confirmed breakfast and dietary needs, suggested activites in downtown Crested Butte (an easy walk), and served us freshly-baked cookies. Our rooms were clean and nicely furnished, each with its own small fridge stocked with drinks, and its own attached bathroom. Upon our return to the B & B after exploring downtown (off-season so lots of shops and businesses were closed) and eating a casual dinner, we selected/watched a Netflix movie in the cozy common area and helped ourselves to some of the light snacks that were available for guests. We slept okay (temperature was a minor issue) and in the morning were served a delicious homemade breakfast, including specialty coffees, in the upstairs dining area (kitchen is also upstairs) along with The Ruby's only two other guests. Our overall experience was very positive; however, be aware that individual guest rooms and bathrooms are not large, nor is the common area with its sectional sofa and viewing screen. The four of us were lucky enough to have the B & B almost to ourselves but space could be a bit tight when it's fully occupied during the summer and/or ski season.

The Ruby was fantastic. Chef Lindsey's food was amazing, they were great with requests and just general accommodations. Check in was super easy. The bed was super comfortable, and we could go on and on. We will definitely be back.
