These beautiful log cabins and suites are packed with amenities. The oversized rooms are ideal for a family of four, with two queen beds, a gas fireplace, large private deck, and a small kitchenette that includes a mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and a separate bar area with extra seating. Kids are welcome to borrow board games and DVDs from the front desk for evening fun. Kids will also love the trains that occasionally rumble through town behind the cabins, but light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. There are several outstanding restaurants within walking distance of your cabin, but you’ll want to enjoy at least one breakfast at the historic Talkeetna Roadhouse, where the hearty sourdough pancakes are legendary.
Located in the historic town of Talkeetna, the Denali Fireside Cabins and Suites are a welcome respite if you’re driving north from Anchorage to Denali National Park. Your lodgings are within easy walking distance of most shops, galleries and attractions in town. For groceries and souvenirs, stop in at Nagley’s Store, a local favorite that’s been operating as a general store since 1921. Kids will love the Talkeetna Historical Museum, where they can learn about the early trappers and miners who settled the area. Talkeetna is now a base of operations for many tour operators, giving you access to fishing charters, wildlife tours and river adventures. With its luxurious amenities and convenient location, the Denali Fireside Cabins and Suites are a great choice for your family vacation to Alaska.

The host, Don has done an excellent job at making his cabins and suites feel like home. He and his staff are available 24/7 for any needs, have excellent personal skills and have great knowledge of Talkeetna. They were able to offer a lot of history of the town and had many suggestions for what to do; even on a rainy day. The cabins are custom built with a TV and kitchenette stocked with some basic condiments. Rooms are impeccably clean, you can tell the pride and joy put into these cabins and their upkeep. Comfy beds and pillows, and lovely homemade cabin-feel quilts. I feel like I’m staying at home when I stayed at these cabins. Cozy, warm, quiet, and friendly. Will be back, and recommend this place to anyone! Thanks Don for the lovely stay and hospitality.

Cabins were clean and nicely decorated. Convenient to the town center of Talkeetna and had a great view of Mount Denali. We met the owner Don, he wanted to make sure that we were pleased with our accommodations.
We are so glad that we did not stay at the first Inn that we saw - it was well worth the extra money to stay at Denali Fireside Cabins. We highly recommend them. We would stay here again but we live in the Southern Lower 48 States and not sure when we will be back to the beautiful state of Alaska.
As owners of a beach vacation rental property we recognize all the little “extra” things in the cabin which makes it more enjoyable for guests.
We stayed in #4 with two queen beds and our friends stayed in #7 which was probably our favorite. I always travel with Clorox wipes but I didn’t feel like I needed to use them. Both were exceptionally clean!
We wish we could have stayed another night...... you will not be disappointed!
