Located inside a historic brick building right in the center of downtown Keene, this hotel offers spacious accommodations at an extremely reasonable price. The individually decorated rooms feature exposed brick walls, elegantly decorated (if a bit corporate) guestrooms with pillowtop mattress, mini-fridge, large flatscreen TV, iPod docking station and Keurig coffeemaker. Larger two-level suites feature a king-sized bed in a loft with a pullout sofa below. With a crib or rollaway, it can accommodate five.
The hotel is convenient to downtown Keene, with its quaint shops and children’s museum. It’s also close by to Mount Monadnock and the Vermont border. Free breakfast included with the stay features hot items such as eggs, sausage and made-to-order waffles.

Lovely new property in an old historic building in Downtown Keene, New Hampshire .. we went looking for covered bridges in the beautiful fall colors .. just a beautiful New England town with this higher end hotel with large rooms and to die for comfy beds .. beautifully decorated in muted colors that were so restful .. great restaurants just minutes walk away .. the free breakfast at the hotel was good with eggs ,bacon ,waffles, fruit & assorted breads and muffins , the usual at Fairfield’s .. free parking in back of the hotel they give you a pass to park in the garage.. over all we had a great time , the hotel is centrally located for our 5 day trip .. love this hotel

Our fridge didn’t work. There was no water in the room for us. When I called the desk they told me waters are $2 each. Our bathroom ceiling fan did not work. When we arrived the room was 75 degrees so I asked that it be turned down to 65 because we couldn’t adjust it while we were at dinner. We came back from dinner and discovered we were locked out of our room and had to go back downstairs to get new keys. The manager never even apologized. When Finally got in the room and it was still 75 degrees! Too hot for us, so we had to open the window to try to sleep and let me tell you -this was THE hardest bed I have ever slept on. We got maybe four hours of sleep if that. When I complained in the morning to the person at the desk all she said was oh wow. $160 for a night of all of the above and zero sleep= unhappy customers. Nothing was done for us at all. Pick somewhere else to stay. I was a Marriott silver member for years. Not anymore.
