This White Mountain lodging is a B&B hiding in the clothing of an affordable motel. The rooms are simply decorated, but with cozy touches such as homemade quilts replacing the usual polyester bedspreads and modern art on the wall in place of the usual landscape scenes. Bathrooms are spotless, with white wainscoting on the walls and full-sized shower/tub combos.

The rooms include several with two queen beds; one with 2 double beds and a whirlpool tub in the bathroom; and a two-room family suite with a king-sized bed and double whirlpool tub in the master bedroom connected to another room with two double beds and a whirlpool tub/shower. In the back area is a pool area with a view of the mountains, and North Conway Village is only a one-minute walk away. While breakfast is not provided, the motel does serve complimentary coffee and tea, and provides 10-percent-off vouchers for local restaurants.

Clean room, friendly staff

My husband and I were recently vacationing in NH with our 2 dogs (Boxer & Shtizu/poodle) and we had found this place on the bringfido website. I'm glad we found it. The room was very clean, the manager was extremely helpful and friendly.the location was great, it was right in the center of everything. It was close to settlers green shopping outlets, and not far from the scenic train station and those cute little shops. I think we have found our new place to stay while we are in town, especially when we are traveling with our dogs.

Bed sheets not changed from previous guests

Very disturbing to find different kinds of hairs on the sheets and pillows! Bath tub had hairs in it as well. The heating/AC system had an a half inch of dust blowing from it and cob webs above it. Furniture wasn't dusted. New owner sent his preteen daughter over to take pictures of the hairs in the bed instead of doing this himself. Sent housekeeping over to change the bed. The pillow covers (not the cases) were all stained as well. When we went to check out, owner wasn't around and again had his preteen daughter at reception asking "was how your stay" Told her "I think you know how our stay was" was and she responded "have a good day". The owner didn't have the decency to speak with us himself! My friend and I have been staying here for the past 6 years when Jerry and Michelle owned it, the rooms were immaculate! Needless to say, we won't be staying in this dirty motel ever again!!!!!!!!!!
