Stayed here as it was rated so highly, best hotel we've stayed in in a long time. Clean, comfortable, friendly and accommodating Staff, great breakfast, quiet, wifi service that was fast, nice pool. We will stay here again!
Even though our room was across from the breakfast room, we weren't bothered by any noise.

To summarize this hotel in one word, I would say: cleanliness. Yes, I am talking about clean rooms, clean corridors, clean lobby and also in the breakfast room as it was being permanently monitored by its crew.. Other positive features I can recall were: fast check-in procedure, comfortable beds, plenty of towels available, wifi signal (no breakdowns), assorted TV channels in the room, microwave oven and fridge, the latter, of a larger size than a typical hotel room minibar. Also the power of the air conditioning in the room was so strong that from time to time we opted to turn off the system for a while.
That said needless to say we are talking about a "no frills" lodging, and its location might not be the best place to stay if the main purpose is to go visiting beaches along the Gulf Coast, or downtown Tampa for that matter, (but this limitation should not be a serious issue when a car is available, as the Gulf Coast is less than 25 minutes away.) .A quick search will retrieve many lodgings along the Gulf Coast Road and close to Gulf coast beaches, but bear in mind that this competitive edge is not available for free; rates skyrocket the closer you are to the beach area; so for travellers on a budget as it was our case, the option was crystal clear..
Other incidental comments: some packs of frozen food for purchase are available at the lobby, as well as a limited amount of ice cream flavors, for travelers arriving late after a busy day. What else does a average traveler like us could need?
