The new cabins at Robe Lake Lodge are the perfect accommodation for a large family. The Eagle’s Nest is a luxurious three-story log cabin perched on a high point of land that gives guests panoramic views of the Chugach Mountains and nearby Robe Lake. With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a family of eight would be extremely comfortable here. The cabin is fully furnished and packed with amenities, like a full kitchen, BBQ, free Wi-Fi, a DVD playerand two decks. There are three other smaller cabins, as well as lodge rooms, available. Breakfast items are provided in your refrigerator each morning, or you can join other guests in the main lodge. Or socialize in the hot tub and sauna after a busy day of hiking and fishing.
Robe Lake Lodge is 9 miles east of Valdez, not far off the Richardson Highway, and overlooking the lake. Twenty minutes down the highway, you can be hiking in the Worthington Glacier Recreational Site. Or drive 15 minutes the other way and you can be boarding a charter fishing boat in Valdez. There are restaurants, shops and museums in Valdez as well, along with a large grocery store for stocking your cabin with lunch and dinner items. Your hosts at Robe Lake Lodge offer several activity packages that include deep sea fishing in the summer and heli-skiing in the winter. With its beautiful lakefront setting and family-friendly cabins, Robe Lake Lodge is a great choice for your family vacation in Alaska.

We stayed at the Robe Lake Lodge September 26-28. Beside our traveling companions, we had the lodge to ourselves. The rooms are very neat and comfortable. Two tremendous dining tables. Two good size sitting areas. Short drive into town or the airport. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is beyond dreamy! The perfect getaway while visiting Valdez. The lodge was stocked with everything we needed, the cleaning staff came every day and freshened everything up. We had an incredible view, hot tub, there's a fire pit that we didn't get to use do to weather - really everything you could want. The bedrooms are quiet and the beds are comfy. Our room was pretty small, (#1) however it didn't bother us at all as we were only in the bedroom to sleep and get ready. For those wondering about the bathroom, each floor does share a bathroom. We made our own breakfast each morning and had the coffee they provided. This is more of an air B&B feel as there is no staff at the lodge, but the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. This place is really a dream - there's no where better to stay while in Valdez! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
