The Paddle Inn is a quaint, two-story cabin with two modern suites, one on each floor. The lower suite is ideal for a small family, with a queen bed and a full sofa sleeper. The huge picture window of the front room looks out on a pebble beach and Resurrection Bay. Relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch and watch the boats go by. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, fireplace, BBQ grill and a small kitchenette, which includes a refrigerator and microwave. A free continental breakfast is provided in your room each day. This area of Seward is home to several kayak rental companies, as well as tour boats and fishing charters.
The hotel is in a quiet coastal neighborhood 2 miles south of historic downtown Seward. It’s an easy 10-minute drive into town, where you’ll find a variety of fun shops and quality restaurants. The whole family will love learning about sea life at the Alaska Sealife Center, the state’s premier aquarium. Seward is also the perfect starting point for day trips into Kenai Fjords National Park or fishing charters on local waters. There are tour companies all along the downtown waterfront to help you plan your adventure. With its gorgeous ocean views and spacious rooms, Alaska’s Paddle Inn is a good choice for your family vacation in Seward.

Our daughter lives in Anchorage, Alaska and arranged for a family trip to Seward over a weekend in early August. She booked us into the Alaska Paddle Inn after a search online. We stayed at the Main House, an adorable, crafty, comfortable home by the Resurrection Bay. The finishes and artistic touches in this house are not to be missed. We had our own deck, grill, and access to the beach with a picnic table and fire pit right by the beach. Clean, well kept, great shower, and amenities, including pancake mix, coffee, and tea. Wish we could have stayed longer. Be sure to check out the Hungry Halibut right down the street for fresh fish and yummy desserts.

Loved the Main House of the Paddle Inn! Shared by two couples very nice accommodations and decor! Nicely stocked kitchen! Plus use of personal beach access across the street. Definitely recommend it for family or friends
