This place could really be nice..unfortunately the housekeeping management isnt doing their job..how hard is it to scrub a toilet? This one hadnt been cleaned far before we even arrived..i gave benefit of doubt and wiped a spot to make sure it wasnt a water stain..it came right off..its just really disgusting..made us wonder if perhaps the beds werent clean either...we love the area and would really like to return. Please fix this problem managers! Thank you

An old friend and I just stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it (though with a couple of issues that might or might not affect others, which I’ll mention later). The room was large with 2 comfy beds and a separate living room area with couches, desk, a small kitchenette (with small frig, microwave, coffee maker and sink). There is a nice looking indoor pool, though we didn’t use it, and an exercise room (which I thought I might use, but didn’t). The breakfast buffet, while not gourmet, is large, with lots of choices from scrambled eggs and sausage to yogurt with fruit or other possible toppings; one of the mornings there was a make your own waffle bar. Coffee or tea is always available in the lobby and at 3pm they put out delicious cookies, though they do go fast. All of the hotel staff were polite but in particular we really liked the people at the reception desk, Shanae and Todd, who were very welcoming, very friendly, and very helpful.
The hotel located a 5 minute car from the beautiful Silver Sands State Park. It is 1 minute from Rte 95, which is convenient. We were concerned about highway noise since we were on that side of the hotel, but it didn’t bother us inside the hotel.
The main issue we had with the room was that I assumed that since it was a “suite,” that there would be a door between the living room area and the bedroom, but there wasn’t. My friend goes to bed 2-3 hours before I do, and since I didn’t want to keep her awake, I couldn’t watch TV or even have more than the desk light on. Also the bathroom sink area is not *in* the bathroom but rather in an alcove next to it, so the light there blasts right into the bedroom. I ended up brushing my teeth pretty much in the dark because the light, had I turned it on, would definitely have woken my friend. But if you’re alone or if you and your travel companion keep similar hours, this shouldn’t be a problem for you the way it was for us.
I would definitely recommend staying here.
