Pleasant stay in Amsterdam

by AnalyticalChemist

My wife traveled with me on this business trip. We stayed 7 nights at the Pulitzer Hotel in Amsterdam. This is our 7th time together at the Pulitzer. The Hotel has several big location benefits: near shops, numerous cafes and restaurants, and convenience to museums. The building is old but the renovations of the hotel are kept up. The Hotel is a very good value for price. The Hotel has spacious rooms that are often oddly arranged but functional. I must complement the super staff, and nice breakfast. The Dutch (Pulitzer) do some odd things: like decorating the rooms with a lot of nicknacks like an extensive assortment of wine and bar accessories. They removed them upon our request to give more room for our stuff for our 7 day stay. They also brought into our room shelves for extra storage. On this latest trip I splurged and paid the extra $$ for an upgraded room: ANTIQUE COLLECTOR’s SUITE. This sure made our stay SPECIAL! Our next stay in Amsterdam will definitely be at the Pulitzer.

tried the pulitzer again and again was not happy with what you get for your money nice hotel but the old pulitzer had its act together now not sure i ll try again out of loyalty but dissapointed, still a interior design icon but service and quality including ensuring a good night sleep would be a benefit!!!
