I needed to find a location for a gathering followed by a Board Meeting. It felt a bit like looking for a unicorn. However, when I began talking with Adam at Stone Mountain Manor Inn I knew I had found the right place. Or it had found me.
The Inn is a beautiful physical space - well cared for and inviting: Warm and welcoming and also beautifully detailed. Each bedroom is carefully and thoughtfully decorated to provide a private and comfortable stay, with large windows, high ceilings, comfortable beds and perfectly prepared bathrooms. Lovely for two people and if you are alone it is like having your own resort! The house is quiet and the sleep is so good.
The staff are thoughtful and kind, and take care of all the necessities with a grace and charm that feel like family. The breakfast is delicious, and they are able to accommodate special needs - all we had to do was ask.
I stayed for six nights and was able to concentrate on the gathering and on our business meeting. The venue perfectly suited us. We were allowed to make ourselves at home, and be comfortable. All the things we needed were there. It's hard to describe how happy everyone was with our choice.
The village of Stone Mountain has several wonderful choices for lunch and dinner, and the surrounding Atlanta area is alive with catering opportunities from tacos to Sunday Dinner. We were well served in all areas, and felt safe and happy and very fortunate to have found this perfect spot to have our meeting.
I hope we can do it again!
