Sleeping Lady Resort is located outside Leavenworth on a spacious property along Icicle Creek. The resort offers amenities for all seasons, including an outdoor seasonal rock-lined swimming pool, cross country ski/snowshoe/bike rentals, volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, two-acre organic garden and walking trails. Indoors, find a spa, “play barn” with billiards, board games and puzzles; fitness room; dry sauna; library; and free Wi-Fi.
Rooms come in several configurations and include Northwest-inspired hand-hewn furniture, including the Alcove Room with one queen and one twin bed, Double Alcove with one queen and two twins, and Loft Room with one queen, one twin, and a double bed in a loft accessible by ladder (room can sleep five). The Rookery is a secluded cabin that can sleep eight and includes a bunk room and mini-fridge. There are no televisions at the Sleeping Lady. The onsite Kingfisher restaurant serves breakfast and dinner daily, and the casual O’Grady’s, at the entrance to the resort, serves all meals. Many inclusive packages are offered.
