A generally comfortable hotel with nice staff, although staff not completely knowledgeable about Hilton Honors benefits, and there were problems with the heating and AC. We stayed in October and it was in the 30's (F) outside, but no heat in our room. When we called, the front desk said that the heat had not yet been turned on, so it was best just to turn off the unit entirely since only chilled air was coming out. The same night, a colleague's room was too hot and no AC came out; another front desk person told her that it was too late in the season for AC and she would need to open an outside window (which only some rooms have). Two nights later, our room only had heat; no AC. A maintenance person told me that the hotel's HVAC system was old and could only supply chilled water (AC) or hot water (heat), but not both, although this still didn't explain two rooms on the same night with one having only hot air and another only cold. In the end, the front desk and maintenance staff apologized, but said there was nothing they could do about it. Not a big deal, perhaps, but also not expected from a modern, upscale hotel.
