I've been daydreaming about a return trip to the St. John Inn since we left. Perfectly convenient location, easy to walk to and from town, one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and lots of charm.
We stayed in the Jumbie room, and I loved being steps away from the pool. It was hot when we visited (I know, I know - it's always hot, right?!), but our room was comfortable and it was nice to go for a quick swim before bed or before heading out for the day.
There were a few things that set the St. John Inn apart for me -- I really loved sitting out on the balcony at night and the continental breakfast was great. I never sampled the rum punch, but my boyfriend loved it. Having our choice of snorkel and beach gear for the day was so convenient and perfect (they have plenty of masks, flippers, coolers, games, chairs - anything you need!).
Scotty was a wonderful manager for our stay, and I very much appreciated him letting me pick his brain about many aspects of life on the island. Mr. Moustache and Bob were also nice to send time with.
My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I actually got teary eyed when we left, and I'm a grown adult. This place was magic, and I can't wait to come back!

Totally convenient spot, you can walk to anything downtown. Lovely outdoor patio area perfect for their daily rum punch happy hour. Clean rooms, wonderful people, really fun vibe. They had recommendations for anything we wanted to do on the island. Made the trip exactly what I hoped it would be.
