What a great find. This small hotel exceeded my expectations. The owner, Michael was amazing and made check-in really smooth. He also helped with bookings and advice about local attractions on the island. It made my stay!
The hotel is a hidden gem. A zen like garden greets you as you enter the property. I had a room that opened onto the beach. It included a little deck area that was exclusively mine complete with table and chairs. It was great for making a drink and watching sunset. This hotel surprised me with some of its amenities that made my vacation great- beach towels; a beach shower to rinse off the fine sand before going into your room; small kitchenette with everything you need including ice trays; lending library in case you forgot a beach book; lots of towels in the bathroom and great smelling shampoo. To note, they are doing a small amount of construction currently with some noise during the day, but nothing bad. The construction should be finished soon.
The hotel is right on Simpson Bay with it’s beautiful turquoise water and calm surroundings. You can easily walk to a few beach restaurants and bars. The walk to town for more bars and restaurants was 6-15 minutes depending which end of town you were walking to. I definitely recommend a stay at the Azure Hotel and Art Studio.
