I went on my trip to Jamaica a week ago.

This hotel is a shack very dirty and old everything there is broken and dirty they few staff they have there its like they just walk off the road and maybe 1 other couple was staying there at this property.
This first appearance it’s very gloomy, dark and has a depressed feelings.
I checked in the one staff there at check in it’s like she did us a favor very rude and not friendly.
Went into room omg night mear dirty everything in room was broken the bathroom was filthy and all the fixtures was loosen.
Went to see the beach it’s across the road it gets even better the two staff the have working at the bar was filthy looking the bar was old and broken I was hungry after traveling all day I ordered fries it’s tasted like is was fried in used oil that fish was fried in I did eat it.
I checked out and went to the Riu Montegobay it was like night and day for the same price.

They pictures for this property is 100 percent misleading that’s online I’m sure it’s the pictures they’re using was taken when the hotel was first opened.

Do no attempt to stay at this shack/motel.

Had 5 stars worth of fun

How do you judge a resort? For me: price, first. I need something affordable but delightful. Second: does the resort get in the way of fun or facilitate it? SeaGarden is a great mid-priced resort that puts me in the mind of New Orleans. (Or maybe we should really say that N.O. got its charm from places like Jamaica). SeaGarden provides lots of opportunities for fun and never gets in the way.

We were there with friends. We wanted to chat up some people and have some fun and we really did. The charming bay and beach was just the right size for us. Great jerk chicken at the beach with solid drinks. The pool was sparkling clean every day — and we were there during the off season. Loved the pool and who can forget Shaquille, the life guard who kept us laughing — and enchanted by his great voice — ya mon! Or the many Jeromes who brought drinks. Maybe too many drinks.

On our last day, We ADORED the piano player — don’t miss the piano bar. On our first day, We loved T-Rex, who gave a dance lesson.

One thing you should know is that SeaGarden is so safe and lovely. Beautiful tended gardens and a delightful vine-covered path to the beach. A crossing guard gives security while you flip flop to the beach.

We loved the ocean-view rooms that gave us an opportunity to watch Perry the Pelican fish and patrol his slice of the the beach.

The ocean-view rooms face Jimmy Clift Blvd and on the weekends Jamaicans gather to play music, cook food, and party at the dead end of the island. You can enjoy the festivities in complete safety and share in the culture! Fun but a bit noisy so don’t judge the hotel by the parties.

You will find the hotel is really international. We met Brazilians, Italians, Brits, Swedes, and Mexicans. And lots of Jamaicans.

We found the buffet good and the staff very able.

If you choose SeaGarden you surely won’t be sorry.
