It features a handful of two-bedroom villas with modern, tiled bathrooms, spacious dining/living areas, fully equipped kitchens and private, covered patios. Each villa can also be rented as a one-bedroom for a discounted rate. Master bedrooms have king sized beds, with twin beds in the second bedroom. Each room is air conditioned and has cable TV and a ceiling fan.
The resort features daily housekeeping service, and laundry service and room service are both available upon request. Babysitting can also be arranged when requested at least 24 hours in advance. There are tennis courts on the property, and the beach and excellent coral reefs for snorkeling and diving are just a short walk from the resort. Car rentals and a variety of water sports can be arranged by the hotel.

My wife and I arrived in St. Martin on Thanksgiving day, took a taxi to Marigot, then took the ferry over to Anguilla. Previous reviews on Anguilla recommend the ferry from Marigot vs. from the airport, as it is less expensive. Our taxi picked us up at the Anguilla marina and took us to Masara. The owners of Masara had a car rental delivered at the resort and it was waiting for us when we arrived. There are maybe 5-7 villas at Masara, all with ocean views with just a few yards of walking to a small private-ish beach. Our villa was clean, spacious, and although not luxurious, it suited our needs just fine. TIP: We checked in on Thanksgiving day and were the ONLY guests at the property. High season doesn't begin until December, so we had the whole resort to ourselves including the beach. Very nice owners. We would definitely stay here again.

We've been staying at Masara and enjoying it for over ten years. We've never had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and will do anything to make your stay better. You have everything you need to relax: two bedrooms with baths, spacious living room area, kitchen to cook your meals and a balcony to watch the sunset. There is a short walk down to the beach there and you will usually be the only one on the beach. With only nine villas, it's never crowded and always quiet. it's a short ride from there to the Valley where the grocery stores, banks, post office, etc are located. When you're in the Valley, be sure to check out Papa Lash Food Van. He makes the best patties in the whole of the Carribean as well as an amazing Plantation sandwich. You'll need a car to explore the island and check out the other beaches and many restaurants. We've always used and had great service from Moran at Summerset Car Rental. If you're looking for a local restaurant with great food and prices, visit Andy's just outside the Valley in the Quarter. Enjoy your stay!
