Overview

The centrally located Sydans Apartments and Villas offer budget-friendly, home-like accommodations with complete kitchens, seating areas and twin or king sized beds. Each spacious room has an air conditioner, ceiling fan, and a television, as well as either a porch that overlooks a nearby salt pond or French doors that open up to a shared courtyard. Studios, one-bedroom apartments and duplex apartments are available, including some connecting rooms and a couple of larger villas for those in need of more space.

The property is located directly across the street from Sandy Ground Beach, right on the village’s main street where there are several popular restaurants and bars within walking distance. The area has an entirely local feel, with its residents going about their daily fishing, working and activities just steps from the hotel. Complimentary parking and Wi-Fi are available.

Check-in is at 2 p.m., with check-out being at noon.

Clean and quiet

After the hurricane, repairs are still been done but the place is nice. Everything looks old and rickety but they work. Not expensive so its affordable...will come with friends next time.
It seems odd that they dont collect the bill when you get in. It is really close to the beach and affordable food

Budget friendly accommodations.

Low key, budget friend rooms that are centrally located on the island in the Sandy Ground area. Room (205) was large, comfortable and clean. Equipped with kitchen and private veranda. A/C and TV. If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t it.

As of June 2019, they are working on improvements for the property, which doesn’t affect the room itself, but doesn’t make for inviting grounds. It had running hot water, a toilet that worked, comfortable bed, plenty of seating with an eat-in kitchen. For the price you pay, the value is fair. I’d stay here again. Not to mention, it’s located within walking distance to half a dozen bars/restaurants. 3.5 rating is about right, not very good, but good to average. I’m low maintenance, so this worked well.
