From the moment we walked into the lobby of the explore an we felt totally at ease. The receptionist, Raul and tour guide Andre, took their time to show us around and explain our excursions for the week and brought out bags to our room for us.
Everyday we had fabulous excursions led by fantastic guides-- Joshua, Alvero, Renata, and Luis did a great job explaining Mayan and Spanish culture and showing us beautiful areas of Cozumel. We were so grateful for these excursions because we were able to see parts of Cozumel that we would not have found by ourselves, as a wonderful learning experience.
Every single staff member was so thoughtful,friendly, and knowledgeable of culture. While we were at the hotel, we were lucky enough to be there 12 days for our honeymoon. The chefs, and cooks at every location were amazing, everything we had was delicious. The servers and bartenders all asked if we were celebrating something, and made an extra effort to make sure that we had a wonderful honeymoon. Roberto, Alfonso, and Juan gave us a surprise at the last day with a special desert and Juan sang to us! At Fiesta, Fermin and Jacquelin were always smiley and friendly. Armond, always was enthusiastic and lead aqua aerobics and volleyball!!
Thank you everyone at Explorean and Fiesta Americana for making our honeymoon amazing, we hope to come back soon, with all of our friends! Thank you for amazing hospitality and sharing the culture of Mexico with us!

The excursion guides Joshua, Ruben and Luis were fabulous. They were great about explaining things to us in both Spanish and English.
Roberto our bartender was outstanding. Funny and friendly.
The snorkeling right there in site was Amazing. I spent hours watching all the beautiful fish.
The bed in our room was super comfy.
I would highly recommend a visit to this hotel
