During a recent stay from Oct. 31st - Nov. 3rd I had the opportunity to stay at the Barrington Halifax. I was checked in with virtually no delay and the agent was dressed up for Halloween. A most welcomed touch! Room 228 is an oversized room that faces a quiet street. It has two (2) huge windows and there is plenty of natural light. The beds were extraordinarily comfortable. There is ample sitting space, a fridge and an oversized bathroom. I had read numerous reviews that were not very flattering but I'd have to say at the Travelzoo Rate of $83.00 you are not going to find a nicer, better situated Hotel. The Hotel is blocks from a Tim Horton's and several outstanding restaurants and shops. As well, the Hotel has a green program which it should be very proud of. I would stay here again in a heartbeat thanks for an excellent stay!

I was staying there over the weekend, the front desk agent was very unprofessional, always head on and play the cell phone(obviously and every time you pass the lobby), especially at night, I can’t remember his name, I think it starts with a G. Other than that, it’s all good.
