Stayed here for one night. Entered the room there was fruit snack wrappers on the desk, stuff/dirt in the sink and the remote was missing for the TV. The rooms are big but out dated, mine just felt dirty to be honest stained floors, yellow wallpaper peeling off the wall in addition to the above. Parking wasn't the greatest as you have to park in the parkade and walk through Scotia Square. The location is good if your looking for downtown. The bed and location is the only thing that kept me from giving it 1 star. Not impressed, there are other hotels in the area similarly priced that's more modern and cleaner IMO.

My husband and I stayed here during our trip to Halifax this past summer. Overall, the experience was well.
Rooms:
Our room was nice, no complaints. We didn't spend a lot of time in our room, but the bed was comfortable.
Location:
The location of this hotel was perfect! It was in the heart of downtown halifax and only a short distance to the Harbor Walk. So many restaurants and stores nearby.
Parking:
Parking was a little difficult, we had to pay 18 dollars a day to park our rental car in the underground parking lot. We didn't try street parking, but it didn't look like there was much space to street park anyways.
Staff:
All the staff were very nice and accommodating and there was never a huge lineup to wait through. Check in and out was very fast and organized
