Offering completely renovated rooms (as of summer 2016), this property also has a new fitness center, expanded breakfast room and market. Guestroom options include a standard with one king or two queens, or new king suites that have a separate living area with a sofa bed. All rooms have a mini-refrigerator, microwave and complimentary Wi-Fi. Connecting rooms are not available.

Guests also get a free hot breakfast, 24-hour coffee service in the lobby, and an afternoon snack. The seasonal outdoor pool and patio is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

This hotel is located within ten miles of Albany’s varied attractions, such as the New York State Museum and Capitol, USS Slater, and the Center for Performing Arts, as well as more local sites like the Children’s Museum of Science and Technology and the Oasis Family Fun Park.

Visited on our Vermont leaf viewing trip, both coming and going. Typical Fairfield except for the exceptional staff. Upon checking in late afternoon and having problems with our registration, Kats dealt with the issue calmly, professionally and to our satisfaction. She was under pressure with the four of us and other guests trying to get a bed. She was cool under pressure and happily helping all of us.
Then on our return trip to Albany, we were greeted by Rob the manager. What a helpful, fun, efficient manager....a prize in the hospitality business. We were not initially impressed, but after three days we treasured our experience.

Our touring family was delighted with their remodel. Really pleasing colors and decorations. Very comfortable rooms and bedding. Bathrooms spotless and abundant hot water. Our breakfast was well stocked and satisfying. Great staff attended to all our needs.
