good service levels but disappointing facilities and other flaws

This is a new hotel in downtown omaha. Unfortunately they didn’t spend enough on some necessary features to the rooms. First, the building is right next to the interstate but they didn’t do much soundproofing. I’ve been in much quieter airport hotels. Ask for a room away from the interstate.
The showers don’t have controls to keep the temperature steady. I had to keep adjusting the water to be warmer or cooler.
The bed was good but they only have very thick pillows in the room. Other Marriotts have thick and thin pillows.
I was at the hotel with my wife and child but there are only a couple of drawers for clothes and the closet is only 13” wide so our coats were left on the couch.

The food service was good and other amenities were fine.

Great stay. Good value. Good location.

Staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean and modern, and there’s free breakfast each morning. It’s also in a good location. Just minutes from the Omaha airport and there’s shopping and dining in walking distance. Other attractions like the Omaha Zoo and movie cinemas are about a 15 minute drive. Our room was a suite with a king sized bed and pull out sofa. There were two TVs and plenty of room for 3-4 people. The beds are comfortable and the coffee is good!
