Steps from Mirabell Gardens and 10 minutes from Old Town is the Crowne Plaza, which provides a touch of home in a traditional Salzburg setting. The city’s oldest beer cellar, PitterKeller, is located on the property, as well as the rooftop Imlauer Sky Bar & Restaurant, providing guests with two very different dining environments. PitterKeller serves lunch and dinner from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 to 10:30 p.m., respectively. Imlauer offers all-day dining from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Rooms with flat-screen TVs and coffeemakers, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi, are available. Family Rooms featuring two king beds can accommodate four guests. Other rooms include two twin or two queen beds.

The 3 star is for the staff

I'm not sure how I ended up picking this hotel since it's not in the middle of old town, nor is it exception in any way but one. The staff is super friendly. The location is not in the old town although it is close to the Mirabelle gardens. The rooms are small; nothing luxurious. However, the redeeming part of this hotel is the extremely helpful staff. We couldn't get tickets for the Sound of Music (a lifelong dream for my mother) but they were able to get us a private tour with a guide for a $55/person. Ask the staff for Helmut.

A very good Hotel good location close to old city and Bahnhof. Nice room clean queit and enough for me. Good option to save on daily cleaning not realy neccessary. Friendly staff service minded and positive. Just wonder why breakfast has to be a bit pricy
