My husband and I stayed overnight at this hotel on 9/20/19. We were in the area to see Hawk's Nest State Park, and take a Jet Boat Ride. This hotel was close to a lot of attractions!
We were very happy with the hotel, and our room. Everything looked nice, and was clean. Our bed was very comfortable, the hotel was quiet, and we rested very well.
The complimentary breakfast was good! There is definitely something for everyone. My only complaint is that these hotel breakfast rooms are always so small. It would be nice if they could make the breakfast areas roomier.
All things considered, it was a nice hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

We were in town for a family reunion and stayed both Friday and Saturday nights. I have never been in a two story hotel of this size that didn't have an elevator but in all fairness they did tell us that when we registered. The room was clean but when we left Saturday morning the maids never cleaned our room or brought us clean towels~I walked down to the front desk and got some Saturday evening. We didn't have a sign out that said Do Not Disturb or anything~they just completely skipped our room. And we weren't in it for most of the day. That didn't bother us as much as the fact we were going to go swimming Saturday evening about 7:00 and they had the doors locked going out to the pool. When we asked why they said they shocked the pool! Don't you think on a Saturday night of the Fourth of July week-end that was kind of bad timing? We heard several other people ask why they couldn't use the pool either. The staff was friendly, also.
