This gorgeous property looks like a Neo-Gothic church in the heart of Nashville’s Union Station. Instead, it’s a hotel in what served as the city’s former railroad station. More than 100 rooms and 17 suites are available, featuring Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and coffee makers. No two rooms are alike, and each bedroom offers a queen bed, a king bed, two double beds, or two queen beds. Suites provide separate living rooms and bedrooms. Dining is available in-room and at the hotel’s Carter’s restaurant. Breakfast is offered from 6:30 a.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. on weekends, with lunch and dinner offered throughout the day until 11 p.m. (midnight on Friday and Saturday nights).

Stayed here for a few days while wanting to see a few sites in Nashville. Beautiful hotel building. It is downtown by railroad tracks. We had a room with a view of the rail yard as requested. The auto valet is the inside luggage valet. Keys are not very secure in outside box while valet takes luggage upstairs. Now the reason for the 3 star review:
Upon arrival check in was good. After going to room on the sixth floor, we found missing drinking water glasses. Had to call and get blanket that was requested before arriving in room. The refrigerator was unplugged in the room. The main lamp in entry way room was out and they could not repair until the next day. The next morning we had no condiments for coffee. The first day experience was not what we usually get at premium Marriott Properties. Talk to the front desk about a cold breakfast and other issues and they indicated they had change a lot of team members. Sounds like they need to do some training badly at this place. They staff at the desk offered no compensation for the problems we experienced just excuses. The desk staff is not knowledgeable about tours Marriott offers it guest in the area. Again the property is great but the service is below a premium Marriott Hotel. We were disappointed as you can imagine.
