The TownePlace Suites Laconia Gilford is in Gilford, New Hampshire, close to Lake Winnipesaukee and Weirs Beach. When you’re not swimming, boating, hiking or enjoying other outdoor adventures, relax in the hotel’s indoor swimming pool or grab a snack at the onsite market, which also sells beverages and toiletries. The hotel also provides complimentary, continental breakfast each morning, including bagels, pastries, hot and cold cereals, fruit and yogurt. Coffee, tea and juice are served, as well.
Another perk of staying at TownePlace Suites Laconia Gilford is that all rooms are suites with kitchenettes or fully equipped kitchens for preparing meals. Families should consider a Family Suite, with two bedrooms that each have a queen bed, plus a living area with a sleeper sofa; these rooms sleep a total of six guests. Some rooms are pet-friendly, as well.
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Parking is free.

The pumpkin festival in Laconia was a bit disappointing (cold & windy & sparse) but this hotel was not. At the same time, it really wasn't memorable. I just can't think of anything that stood out. Therefore, that means it was a good stay in a TPS that was comparable to the typical ones we enjoyed for decades. Nice staff, clean, comfortable room and a decent breakfast. Don't need much more.

Newer looking hotel which is clean and with large rooms with good facilities.
However the location is really in the middle of nowhere so it’s a drive to do anything. The breakfast was awful - branded as complimentary but of course there is no such thing as a free breakfast it’s in the (high) room rate. The first morning was also very chaotic as the hotel was full. Bins were overflowing and things were running out. If you are that busy then an extra person should be brought in to help.
