I recently traveled here with a bus group for the bus company I work for and we had an amazing experience. The staff is truly top notch. I had my 1 year old son with me and they spoiled him!!!!!!! I can't say enough kind things about them, they were so awesome. Also, the food was EXCELLENT! I stayed in a cabin and it was a very comfortable stay and can't wait to come back! If you aren't sure whether to book your stay here, stop thinking about it and just do it!!!

It was an impromptu getaway. The price is a bit high for my liking but ended up staying two nights cause the check in/out times are a bit extreme, we would not have had time to do anything or enjoy the resort. We stayed in one of the cottages which are very cute and give you a nice view of the lake. The cottage was clean but a little dated. The beds were comfy. We loved our little porch, we would sit out there and listen tot he music from the beach bar. The beach was very clean and they offered kayaks and SUP at no additional charge. They had waitstaff on the beach too. We ate at the beach bar, it was decent food and the drinks were tasty but they were very expensive. Bring your own drinks to the beach or some extra alcohol to put into your drinks while on the beach. The staff on the beach and at the beach bar were very nice and personable. That being said, the staff at the front desk need to get some personality and another lesson in customer service. We arrived late morning and our room was not ready, which was fine as we were early, but the lady at the front desk was not friendly and did not make us feel welcome. She could of said, “enjoy the beach” or “ let me see if I can get your room ready early” But no. We went of the resort and came back late afternoon and our room was still not ready and then it ended up being ready late! I was not happy. They have a motor boat that you can get a tour on for no additional charge, but it only take s a couple trips jeer week. They should really have more times and days it goes out, so make your reservation for the boat early. Overall it was a great time, and I would go back again, but they do have to tweak a few things.
