Located with the Glen Canyon Recreation Area, families wanting to be as close to the lake as possible, will want to stay at Lake Powell Resort. The National Park Recreation fees do apply though for those staying at the resort, so do keep that in mind when planning your trip. The hotel is located at Wahweap Marina, right at the shoreline of the lake. This is ideal for families wanting to take a boat trip or participate in water activities, as many can be booked right at the activities desk inside the lobby. Additionally, there are multiple restaurants and a large gift shop on site. And, families will love the pool with scenic views of Lake Powell.

All rooms come equipped with a TV, Keurig coffee brewer, mini refrigerator, and hair dryer. Rollaway beds and cribs are available on request. Traditional king or two queen bed rooms are 300 square feet with an additional 90 square feet of patio or balcony. Different views are available (lake view for an additional cost per night).
