A beautiful inn that looks like a large Mediterranean villa, the Glorietta Bay Inn is located in the heart of Coronado, near its beaches, marina, shops and restaurants. Providing 11 mansion rooms and 89 rooms and suites, guests of the inn will not pay a resort fee to stay at this Coronado resort. However, you will receive free Continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free afternoon refreshments offered daily, and have a chance to enjoy the inn’s heated pool and spa. The uber-luxurious Mansion rooms overlooking the marina with large picture windows. The Mansion rooms only accept two-person occupancy, but if a family with older children wanted to book two of the rooms, they would be close enough to enjoy the comfort and privacy of the mansion. Meanwhile, most families will stay in the Contemporary Rooms. The best rooms for families begin with a Deluxe Two Queen room with two queen beds and a patio or balcony. Bay View Rooms are available with two queens, as well, and are located on the second floor with only staircase access. Junior Suites are great for families, as they provide a queen bedroom and a living room with a full sofa bed, dining table and sometimes a kitchenette. One-bedroom suites with king bedrooms and a queen sofa bed in the separate living room are also great for families and they all come with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. For families needing more space, two-bedroom suites are available with one king bedroom and one queen bedroom, as well as a living room with full-sized sofa bed, a kitchenette and a dining table. The hotel does not offer dining options.

Stayed here when we attended the San Diego Blues Festival. A charming place, although we stayed in one of the contemporary rooms and not a mansion room. Staff was good and the location was great. A 5 minute walk to the beach and a 15-minute drive into San Diego at Embarcadero Park for the festival.

This hotel was charming and our room was quite large. The location cannot be beat! It is right across the street from the Hotel Del Coronado and they even provided us with beach chairs and an umbrella for our day at the beach.
The bathroom needed a little update, as I felt like the faucet for the tub was going to come out of the wall at any moment, but other than that, this was the perfect place for our 20th anniversary get away.
