Disappointed

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night during a long weekend. Advertised as a smoke free hotel but the first thing I noticed walking in the front door is a strong smoke smell. The smell wasn't as strong throughout the rest of the hotel, but there definitely was a smell throughout all of the hallways as well. We were quite surprised when we entered our room (266) with how small the bed was. Advertised as a queen bed but seemed much smaller than that. The photo shows the level of cleanliness in the room which was quite disappointing as the headboard had a thick layer of dust on it as well. The drain in the bathtub didn't work well, so showering involved standing in a few inches of water. Given the fairly good reviews for this hotel, we were disappointed with the experience we had.

Best value and staff that you can find in a hotel

Maura and her staff made my wife and I feel like we were family making sure that we were happy with our room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is the friendliest staff that we have ever come across offering the best value for our money that we could find in the area. Thanks Maura and staff. We hope to come back soon. Gary Gillett.
