As mentioned, its a lovely spot at June Lake but the hotel is incredibly dated, still hanging on to its aged "film star hideaway theme". Rooms were OK equipped but ours wasn't serviced. The hotel accused us of mistakenly hanging the do not disturb notice outside, but every different person there had a different excuse. Really poor customer service for a Wyndham property, inept on a few levels. They haven't an elevator so you have to carry your bags up a large flight of carpeted stairs, not very safe.

Husband and I decided to go for the first time to Mammoth Festival of Beers and BLUESAPALOOZA. we did not stayed at Mammoth we stayed in June Lake at Heidelberg Inn I am a fun of the tranquility of the place and it is near by Restaurants, coffee place, June Brewery and few more places to visit. Always clean, service is great and the place is charming with a lot of history. Stayed for couple of days plenty of time to do some hiking, drive to places in the forest and discovered few dirt roads. Had a blast at the festival, my husband was delighted with the beer quality. June Lake to Mammoth Lakes is few miles away but I do not mind we enjoy driving and discovering new places, this time we drove to Obsidian Dome.
