We bounce between gold and platinum Holiday Inn status members and this was truly a disastrous stay. Our room no stopper in the tub, dripping faucet, tripping hazard because the carpet had separated from the tile. The check in staff was nice, but I left a small leather case filled with make-up brushes and make-up in the room when we checked out. Once I realized it the next morning we called the hotel and asked if anyone had stayed in the room - no the room was vacant. Did the cleaning crew find the make-up case. It wasn't turned in... guess it is being used by a staff member. Where did honesty go? Will not stay there again.

We became members with IHG Rewards Club. This place doesn't recognize rewards club, why not?!? We asked front desk about this and price point. They did drop the rate by $6 with AAA discount. While the hotel provides what is needed for overnight rest it's in need of some serious updates. Because we didn't think about it we had to find a Wal-Mart to purchase a usb power strip. The other plus, they have Hallmark channel. Other than that hotel is sub par compared to others we've stayed. Connecting to virtual world supposedly is faster being in the rewards club: we didn't find that to be the case. Desk chair and cover to a/c unit are broken. There is a small frig and coffee pot plus hair dryer. Room setup is: sink is right by entrance to room. Shower and toilet are separate. Breakfast at least, is consistent with other Holiday Inn Express locations.
