Overview

The 310-room Holiday Inn near West Acres Shopping Center draws families with Shipwreck Bay, its 13,000-square-foot pirate-themed water park with five slides and room to swim. Parents can request rooms facing the pool area or grab lounge chairs and order beverages at the pool hut. Families also can order pizzas, play air hockey, Ping-Pong or arcade games. The hotel underwent a multi-million-dollar redesign in 2016 to freshen the hotel with sleeker décor both inside and out. Dining can be found at the hotel’s restaurant, its coffee shop and its lounge with a casino.

Wedding vs Blizzard

we came down last weekend for a Friday wedding, due to the weather issues we were canceling ,...then adding,..then canceling,...then adding rooms. the Holiday inn Worked so well with us. then with the bad weather conditions and most the people from out of town, who asked if they would shuttle us over to the event center where the wedding dance was. they had to make two trips due to the size of our group. thumbs up to the entire front desk staff! we're definitely planned to stay there again.

Great Hotel with a indoor water park for the kids.

Good food, great service. Small water park in the center of the hotel. Good parking and lounge for a good drink and great food at the restaurant. We stayed on the first floor very quiet, king room. Clean with a smaller bathroom and a small recliner. Larger TV and a desk.
