Overview

Quaint, thy name is Spruce Moose, a family-friendly B&B located a five-minute walk from North Conway Village. The innkeepers, Leon and Nellie Filip, are very friendly without being obtrusive, and the homey, North Country décor and location in a wooded grove just off the main street provides a good base from which to explore the area. In addition to two family-sized rooms in the main house, the inn also has three family-friendly cottages with full kitchens and accommodations for between four and six people.

October vacation

My husband and I returned to Spruce Moose Lodge for the second time in October. It is a wonderful, cozy place to stay! Leon and Nellie are fabulous hosts. The breakfast is wonderful and rooms are very clean. We love their 3 dogs and will definitely return in the future!! Kathy and Jack Glancy

Can't fault it - simply lovely!

We've just completed a 16-night fly drive around New England and the Spruce Moose was one of my favourite lodgings. We were in Roger's Retreat for 2 nights - we had such a lovely welcome from Nellie and Leon with recommendations for food and activities. The room had everything we needed and the bed was also very comfy. Breakfast was home cooked and delicious - especially the pumpkin bread. Very good location for a walk into North Conway which is only 10 mins. Would stay here again in a heart beat......absolutely lovely.
