Eddie, the restaurant hostess made our trip (1205 miles) worthwhile. Our server, our first night had very poor skills. Eddie corrected the mistakes and made sure our next evening was smooth and most enjoyable.
We've been staying at this inn for 25 years and always found it to be the best shoreline view with such great historical value. The dining room is beautiful. The food excellent.

I drove by this inn years ago while on business and thought next time I'm in the area might like to stay there. York Harbor Inn is a nice place. The pub and live music was very relaxing by the huge old fireplace. The staff was VERY attentive to every question this out of towner had about the area. Across the street is a great path to walk along the shore. Breakfast was included with cost of the room and tasty. Our room (#5) although adequate for our short stay, seemed to be in need of a refresh. Other than a nice seascape watercolor (by a local artist? Nice touch), the rest of the room said "1980s" with the crystal light fixture, 80s hotel art and pull down vinyl window shades. Flooring was commercial carpet that had worn out its welcome some time ago. It was not the decor one would expect from a quaint historic seaside inn of this stature. Overall however, a nice place to stay. I recommend it to future guests of the area.
