Overview

This simple motel certainly isn’t anything fancy, but if you want a clean room for a great price, you’ll have nothing to complain about here. Rooms are equipped with fridges, microwaves, and free Wi-Fi that works well. The owners are a friendly older couple who’ll make you feel right at home, and the location isn’t too far from restaurants and shops in town.

Great choice

Small motel with super clean room ! Comfortable bed and quality linens. Recently renovated . Coffee machine, small fridge, TV.. well equiped for a small place.
Close to the main road and just a few minute drive to major resturant and grocery store.
Definetly recommend Motel 149.

A cosy motel

This is a small motel close to main roads and a small local town. The room itself is nice and cosy with a wooden cabin style feel to it. The room has all the basic amenities required for a one night stay. But, we were staying for two and as we happened to be in the area when not a lot else was happening -except snow - we felt the place was a bit far from any local attractions, which were still open.
We arrived slightly early and were able to check in but it did feel a little like we were imposing. We would have happily waited if they had just asked.
We are aware the motel is in a French speaking part of Canada, but for those who do not speak french, be aware the owners have very limited English. With our limited French and their limited English we got by OK though and they were very helpful when we needed anything.
