While these modern rooms with expansive windows are marketed more to couples than families, any serious boat-watchers—especially older kids—may appreciate the front-seat these rooms have perched right along the canal. Rooms include binoculars for catching all the details, and modern apps help you track when ships are coming and leaving the canal. Expect to hear the deep horn of boats approaching the lift bridge and the answering ring of the bridge operator.

Long over due review for June 2018. I was looking at pictures and I remembered this place. So here am leaving a review. Very nice place to stay the night in a quiet location. It is well kept and the girl at the front desk made sure we were taken care of. Accommodation is the reason I am leaving this review. She was very attentive to our needs. Also, they have some cool looking red chairs outside looking out to the lake. Very nice!
