We stayed here last weekend for a quick trip to Duluth. Check in was a breeze and the room was wonderful. #256 has views of the canal and the LAKE which were spectacular. Nice spacious room with a couch and easy chair plus desk and comfortable desk chair. Lots of USB plugs and great lighting throughout. Separate coffee station with microwave and refrigerator. Nice closet with hangers that can be removed and a huge bathroom counter and a great shower. Wonderful breakfast does not truly describe this event...constant supervision by several staff members, cleaning, refilling and smiling...always cheerful. Just a great experience!

Very pleased with this hotel and with all our travels this hotel rates way at the top. Location is perfect in Canal Park right next to Lake Superior, the Aerial Lift Bridge and Grandma's Saloon & Grill. There are paths directly to the Aerial Lift Bridge waterway and the horse carriages loading is right next to the hotel. The hotel is also near much of the shopping, restaurants, museums etc. The hotel decor is excellent inside and out; check-in easy and front desk clerk friendly and helpful; the free breakfast hot meal had a good variety of foods and beverages; pool open late with adult use 10-midnight and has two hot tubs; beds and pillows were very comfy; everything was very clean. We had an Lakeside end room (302) with a great view of Duluth, the lake, and the lighthouses. This king bed room was very spacious. We will definitely stay there again.
