I made a reservation on a Friday night for the following night stay (Saturday). On Saturday I had an emergency which prevented me from traveling. I called and spoke to the motel and they said because I didn't cancel 15 days prior (hello! I just made the reservation last night!) they can't refund my money.
So they pocketed my $208 and probably rented the room to someone else.

We have stayed at the Braeside numerous times over the past few years during summer. It's a top notch choice in that it's always immaculately clean, super quiet, in a truly lovely setting up high on a bluff with a long gorgeous front lawn and Adirondack chairs looking at a small mountain in the distance. The rooms are a good size, and the beds are very comfortable. The very nice folks running the place clearly care a great deal about it, and it shows. Highly recommended.
