Overview

As its name implies, CenterHotel is located in the city center of Reykjavik. In each of the 52 contemporary rooms, guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi with their stay. Guests can choose from standard, deluxe, junior suites and loft suites at this Iceland hotel, with many of the rooms featuring an oversized bathtub in the middle of the room, next to the beds. (If privacy is necessary, reconsider this property.) Loft Suites are two-story suites with a bedroom separated from a living room. Onsite dining is available at Isafold Restaurant with a breakfast buffet offered each morning. The hotel provides early breakfast options for guests traveling between 4 and 7 a.m., as well as Northern Light wake up service when the skies are clear. The hotel can arrange transportation to and from the airport, for a fee.

A gem in downtown Reykyavik

A beautiful spot in downtown Reykyavik. Half a mile from the Hallgrimskirkja church. Easy walk to Harpa, Sun Voyager, museums, swan pond and lots of others. A beautiful lobby, good restaurant and tidy, efficient rooms. Only missing a make up mirror. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Great location, clean and comfortable

Perfect for a short stay, we were on the top floor (4) and our room was well designed in the eaves.

The room was super warm which is a delight coming in from the cold. We opened the window on a couple of nights, though it was above the air con fans it didnt affect sleep for us. Alternatively, there is a fan in the room if you're warm at night as a saturday night can be a little noisy (though nothing horrendous).

Lovely staff, lovely spa area, nice restaurant and delicious breakfast. The bar lounge menu is no longer in use despite the website still showing it online which was disappointing but the chef gave us alternatives.

Rooms lovely and clean, great hanging space and drawers etc. Maid service was excellent and linen well presented. Great location. Overall, really recommend this place and would stay again!
