A convenient home base for those exploring the west end of Death Valley National Park, the Exchange Club Motel in Beatty gets high marks for cleanliness and a friendly staff. Though this motel offers basic accommodations, kids who are worn out from a day of rock climbing will love zoning out in front of the flat-screen TV. Tip: Be sure to ask for a room that doesn’t face the freeway if you’re a light sleeper.

Cockroaches in the rooms, and I mean a lot of them. Room is very old and has a dark feel about it. Stayed for one night and was difficult to sleep with the thought of the cockroaches, had to spray bug spray everywhere and lay towels in hope they didn't come back in.
