We arrived early in the afternoon and checked in and our room was ready,which was nice to heard because it was around noon. The room was a classic suite of a different shape then we usually get here but we really like the layout better. Had a great start for this trip because the deer were coming up to us to see them easily right on the hotel grounds, but you can get to about 5-10 feet from if you are good and slow moving close to them. Then we when back to our room to put on fire for the afternoon to enjoy after lunch in the hotel restaurant which we do enjoy every time we come here.

We were a bit off-season and found the price for the suite a bit heavy. However, the experience was great all along and we did not regret it. The suite is very large, extremely cosy, with three fireplaces (one in each room and one in front of the private jacuzzi located on the terrasse). The bed is very comfortable, the shower and the bath-tub excellent and the view on the lake terrific. The fitness room is small (there are four machines). The pool is quite large. There are two restaurants which are quite good but nothing exceptional. Staff is very friendly and efficient. A great experience overall.
