This hotel was very quaint and in a great location. In general the hotel service was polite and prompt. The room was beautiful with a box of chocolates and fruit plate on arrival. The included breakfast buffet had a variety of choices. Two things that could be improved; the waiter for dinner was rude and pushy as I was only there to join our group, not to eat. I wasn’t feeling well. Although my husband and I had a $25 dining credit per room, I didn’t eat and the hotel only accepted 1/2 the credit not the full amount. It doesn’t state per person but room. Actually the rude waiter didn’t deduct anyone’s credit. The group of four rooms had to have a discussion with the manager upon checking out. It was resolved except for our room.

Just a 15 minute walk from the main train station where the airport express bus stops. The bus is just £2 per person each way and a 30min journey. Look for the bus and stop with AE sign. Buy ticket on the bus not from the machines (we made that mistake)

The hotel is a lovely well maintained old building in a great location and it is easy to walk to most sights from there in max 20 mins. We walked everywhere.

Our room was clean, as was the rest of the hotel. the breakfasts were huge and very good. The restaurant room is a lovely space, big windows, high ceiling, art deco lighting, wood panelling with mother of pearl inlays. We only stayed 3 nights so didn’t eat in other than breakfast. Had a couple of drinks in the cafe / bar late eve. It serves food until 11.

It is just around the corner from the Municipal Hall, which itself has a great cafe with art nouveau decor and 5 is mins from a shopping mall if you need one. A 10 min walk to the Old Town Square or Wenceslas Square or 20mins to the river.

We found the location to be quiet, off the noisy bar track, but not far from it. Staff were always helpful, friendly and obliging. If we return to Prague, we would stay again.

Prague was well worth a visit.
